What we collect

Whitepill has no accounts, no comments and no cookies. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts. The site stores only the three things below, and nothing else.

What the forms store

The claim check form and the corrections form store the text you type, the email address only if you choose to give one, the time you sent it, and which form it came from. We use it to read your message, check it against the sources, and reply if you gave an address.

We keep a message for up to 12 months while it is open. After we reply we remove your email address within 90 days and keep only the claim text. If you ask us to delete a message, we delete it within 30 days.

To limit spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address mixed with the date and a secret value, for up to two days, to count how many messages come from one place. We do not store the address itself.

What we count without identifying anyone

When you use the Copium Meter we add one to a daily counter for an action such as picking a topic, copying a result or downloading a card. The counter holds a number per day and per action. It holds no cookie, no IP address, no user agent and nothing that identifies you.

Who this site is for

Whitepill is written for adults. Do not send us information about anyone under 18, and do not send health records, test results or anything you would not want read by a stranger.

What our host sees

The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver pages and protect the site. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other sites, including primary sources and, in time, retailers. Once you follow a link, that site's policy applies. If we later add Amazon affiliate links, Amazon may set cookies when you follow them, and we may then earn a commission if you buy.

If you email us

If you write to the corrections address, we keep the message long enough to act on it and to keep a record of the correction. We do not sell or share it.

Your rights

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to the corrections address and tell us the time you sent it. We cannot find a message by IP address because we do not keep one.
